In this advertisement above Cover Girl and Olay are using ethos by using Ellen DeGeneres's credibility to promote the the product.
The Coke advertisement is drawing attention to the words lucky and putting less emphasis on the fine print below, because they are using logos by saying if you drink a five cents Coke you will be lucky.
The Discover Boating advertisement is appealing to pathos because they are using an image of a grandfather and son and saying "Family trees are like any other trees. They need water", which is aimed to make the audience feel that that boating is an important part to being a family.
